So, now with the helmet on. More detailed description is coming soon... I am too exhausted after this convention, so I beg for your patience.

Bocsánat a késő válasz miatt. Szerencsére nagyon strapabíró lett a jelmez (a lábvérteket leszámítva). Elég sokszor eldőlt a próbababám készítés közben, a vállvértek így meglehetősen sok ütést kaptak már. :D A szárnyaid viszont extra erősek lettek. Gratula hozzá ;) :D

Indeed, it looks believable. Can't stand costumes that look like plastic crap. It's crazy how many good commissar cosplays there are, but not many Sistas of Babble.

Same here. ;) I think if it comes to a character who fights a lot in battles we have to make lots of weathering. There is no undamaged armour in WH40k. :D I am happy that you like my version. :)

Undamaged armor would break with the spirit of Grimdark.

What material did you use for the little strips of scripture? Whenever I see illustrations, I always wonder how quickly they fall off or get ripped off in a fight. Yours, however, must stay fastened.

Sory for my late reply. :(

The strips were made of normal paper. I soaked them in coffee to have this antique look. They are surprisingly durable, only one of the was torn during my stage performance.

It's cool.

Aha, yes the soaked in coffee look, so quick and effective. I've made ancient-looking maps using that technique.

I was really wondering how you stuck them on, though.

This is really simple. :) The strips were glued on the purity seals - which were made of craft foam, and they were glued again on the armour parts. I used simple hobby-glue. It is surprisingly durable, non of them have fallen down, although I have worn the costume several times and I even crawled in it on stage. :)
